Percy Jackon is a troubled kid. He is always kicked out of school. Yancy Academy is his sixth school in six years. On a trip to the Metropolitan Museum of Art, his math teacher suddenly becomes a monster, trying to kill him. With the help of another teacher, Mr. Brunner, he vaporizes that monster.
