The Hunger Games, the first book of the three part trilogy by Susan Collins. We are introduces  to Sixteen-year-old Katniss Everdeen, who lives In the ruins of a place once known as North America  now known as Panem, containing 12 , once thirteen, Districts . This ticking time boom has been oppressed her whole life by the capital. Not being like every other teenager Katniss is a Free-spoken Anarchist and hunter by nature. In the book we take a close look into her life in district 12 and her fight for survival in the Hunger Games. The Hunger Games is an event created by the capital to install fear into the people of panama. Every year the Capitol hosts the Hunger Games where two "tributes" – a boy and a girl – are drafted from each of the twelve districts to be brought to an arena and fight to the death.
