Holes by Ting Dong

In the story, Holes by Louis Sachar, the main character,Stanley Yelnats was mistaken that he stole the Livingston's baseball shoes and Stanley was sent to Camp Green Lake where for bad boys to rebuild up themselves by spending all day to dig holes. Stanley and his family blamed all of their bad luck on Stanley's no-good-dirty-rotten-pig-stealing-great- great grandfather. Stanley needed to dig five feet wide and five feet deep hole every day. In the days when he was in the camp, he thought a lot and think a lot. There were many boys who were there because they committed a crime.Stanley also made friends with Zero who was Illiterate. However, he was the real kid who stole the Livingston's baseball shoes. Without him, Stanley would not be there.
