Monkey Island by Wei Shao

The Monkey Island by Paula Fox is describle how a eleven years boy live in New York city who name is Clay. Clay's father left him and his pregnant mother at a welfare hotel. His mother leaves for five days before Clay leaves the "hotel". He meets Buddy and Calvin - two friendly homeless men living in an old fridge crate.They let him live with them. They teach Clay how to take care of himself on the street. Clay struggles to survive and is always lost in the thought that his mother will come home.

Jane Eyre by Yan Chun Chen

       Jane Eyre was a pitiful woman. When she was a child, her parents died, so her uncle had responsibility to raise her. Unfortunately, her uncle also died. Jane's aunt didn't want to keep her, and her cousins didn't treat her well, they often bully her. Until one day, her aunt send her to a school that just keep girls. In there, Jane tried her best to study, as well as got a good grade. one day,Jane Eyre graduated, and find a job as a governess in a town. During that time, Jane Eyre's life made a big change. She fell in love with Mr.Rochester, even prepared to marry. However, something happened, they cancaled the wedding, and Jane left the town. After a long time, Jane led a hard time, but she met some people by chance who were in relationship with her. Nothing can stop people keeping their true love. Jane went back, and lived with Mr.Rochester happily.

Gossip Girl by Ting Dong

The Gossip Girl , by Cecily von Ziegesar , is telling the story around a group of teenagers, who live in the  Upper East Side of Manhattan in New York City. The teenagers deal with sex and relationship problems while attending elite private single-sex schools, where their lives are watched by the unseen title character who writes a blog about them. The main characters are Serena van der Woodsen, Blair Waldorf, Nate Archibald, Jenny Humphrey, Dan Humphrey, Chuck Bass and Vanessa Abrams. Throughout the books, the characters deal with problems that stem from the Upper East Side lifestyle. At the beginning of the series, Serena returns from boarding school for an unknown reason. She resumes her "best friends forever" status with Blair and her "normal" life filled with designer clothing and wild parties.

The Invisible Man by Zhen Wei Shi

In H.G. Wells's The Invisible Man, Jack is an invisible man. He is also strange man. He does many bad things in the small town. The constable of town wants to arrest him, but Jack runs out of the town and asks help for someone who does not wants to help him. Jack forces tramp to help him. After latter, Tramp betrays him and takes his book run away. Constable knows Jack still in town. Jack wants to kill everyone who destroys his plan. But in the end, he dies.

Of Mice and Men by Zhong Chen


In John Steinbeck's Mice of Men, George and Lennie are good friends. They are work in the same place. They are fleeing from their previous employment in Weed because Lennie touch a young woman's dress. He likes to stroking soft things. So they shouldn’t stay there. When they arrive at the ranch, the situation appears to be dangerous. For example: Curley dislikes tall man. Then his wife is beautiful, he can’t holdout it. So they would like to come true their dream to leave here. Next Curley's wife enters and tries to speak to Lennie, admitting that she is lonely. But in this time, Lennie stroke her hair. She feels panics and begins to scream. Final Lennie kill Curley’s wife. George meets Lennie at the designated place. Nevertheless George shoots Lennie. Finally they break their dream.
